Subject: Plant Propagation

Hello, We've been using Headstart Nursery to propagate our organic veggie starts and we just heard they are changing their business by will only propagating in house seed for starts, which will really limit our diversity. We have always provided them with the seeds we wish to grow. Are there any other nurseries in the Central Valley doing similar work? Propagating organic veggie starts with the farm's acquired seed? Please let me know.

Thanks,

Connie

Have you looked in the CCOF member directory under Transplants? There are dozens of nurseries listed and some must be in the central valley. There are many on the Central Coast that will use grower-supplied seed.

I have the same issue and I have used them in the past for propagating our medicinal herb starts. Following.
