Headline: We need enthusiastic help growing organic healthy food in a gourgouse but poor rural community N-Cal

We basicly have a one acre garden on the creek on a river. Nice silty soil, was blackberry. We have only just started its our third season. Doing compost piles and bed developement. Have built one hoop house and will do another. The entire area is fenced and then cross fenced. We have two golden retrievers.

We need help with all aspects of the garden especially planting, cultivation and harvesting. We would like to find some one really enthusiastic that loves to garden. We are open to letting you help decide how we do things and what we grow. You could sell produce and help distribute food. We are a couple in our late 50s doing this because we want to grow healthy food. But we can only do so much in a day. We would like to have chikens. We could do a hay and feed store if we wanted to. We like the market garden and Urban farmer models we are studying. The property is zoned commercial and has two

This is a beginner Urban Farm internship. You need to come with very specific ideas of what you are wanting to do. You need to be physically and mentally (having the skills) able to carry out those ideas. There is a new 1000 sq ft living space (livingroom, kitchen, shower, lg. closet, & bedroom) on the third floor for one person. As long as you are working the land at least 4 hrs per week you may use live in that space for $600/month. So you will need to have a source of income outside of the property.

Right now the whole garden is in large cloth pots filled with organic soil, it is moveable.

Prime opportunity for someone skilled in farming to come check out life in the NW. 15 miles from downtown Seattle = daytime 40 minute drive.

Watch Curtis Stone videos from Kelowna Canada to know what I am thinking about.
