Headline: Tools: shovels, hoes, hammers, trowels, and rock bars

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for tool donations! Have any used tools that you've been looking to get rid of? We'll come pick them up. We could really use shovels, hoes, hammers, trowels, and rock bars.

The tools would go to our non-profit STRAW Program (STRAW stands for Students and Teachers Restoring A Watershed). Our program works with local school kids and community volunteer groups to plant trees, shrubs, and grasses for multi-benefit restoration projects that address flooding and erosion concerns as well as improve agriculture infrastructure and wildlife habitat. We are happy to report that our program is growing and we are working with larger groups spanning a greater area, hence the need for more tools!

Thank you!

Jenni Benson

Headline: Spent hens

we have approximately 75 spent hens for sale, mostly dual purpose breeds...could be great for stewing hens or soup stock. Please make an offer, looking to get rid of them for cheap...willing to trade for something. Hens are about 2.5 years old, still laying but not as productive as they once were...could make great pets too!

I need Things to Buy

Posted by David Cooper  |  Oak Hill Farm  |  Glen Ellen, CA

Headline: Kubota L245H

Hi,

My beloved Kubota L245H was destroyed when the Nuns fire roared through our farm on Oct 9. I'm looking to buy a replacement in good working condition. It's okay if it doesn't have the toolbars or cultivators as I can salvage those from my old tractor. I'm willing to pay fair market value for the tractor as it has become a crucial part of my operation and I'm feeling very lost without it. I know there are some available in Tennessee and Pennsylvania, but I'm hoping to find one a little closer to home.

Thanks!

David
